lyto warm-up

When i clicked a photo i was able to drag it around slightly.

I think it takes a more 3D version of the subject and somehow is able to show you more of it.

A think a photographer would have to have a basic understanding of  how to take and work a camera. Since it is a point in shoot i think the process would just take a bit more patience in the case you have to take more then one photo to get this product.

I think the money one would spend on this camera would depend on this dedication of the photographer and if this is the affect they wish to get.

American Soldier & captions

The most powerful image was number 25, you could tell just by looking at them how hot it was and the photo showed the limits soldiers go to to blend in.

Set #1 At home in Denver - 1-8
Set #2 At Basic Training - 9-30 39-44
 Set #3 In Iraq - 49-70
Set #4 Back in Denver - 30-38 45-48 70-83

The photos work together to show showing the different emotions and situations that lead to Ians final transformation and final outcome.

The photos in which ian is subject in our using present tense verbs.

The captions really bring liveliness to the photos and further explain what the ey can't tell by just looking at the photograph.

Aaron stand along with many other men in women ready to be serve their nation. Aaron watches as his family gets in there car and leave, not sure when he will see them next.

After months of training, Aaron calls home for the last time before he gets on the bus to South Korea. He anxiously awaits for the phone to be answered.

Aaron is fitted for his new uniform after being promoted to an office in his section of the military. After a few hours, they find the perfect fit.

Self Portraits

Use a tripod. Seriously. While it’s possible to get good photos while you’re hanging on to your camera at arms-length, it’s a lot easier if you’ve got the freedom to move around a bit.

The first order of business is to engage your subject. This is where we all have to learn to overcome our shyness and approach people in an open and friendly manner. Be up front about who you are and what you're doing. Don't just barge into a scene with your cameras blazing. In fact, it is usually best to leave your camera in its bag when you first approach people, so as not to frighten them. Take time to engage the person in conversation, just as you would if you didn't have a camera. Remember the Golden Rule. Think about how you'd feel if someone approached you and wanted to make a photograph. How they did it would determine how you would respond.

I picked these two as environmental portrait because of the dept in them both. Both are using rule of thirds, the first has a beautiful background with the most vibrant colors. The next almost makes me want to cry.

These next two i picked for photography self portrait. My reasoning for the first is because it just caught my eye. I love how this beautiful girl took a picture that i assume is her or someone whom looks smiler and alined it with her face. It all goes together so well. The next was because it was so different from the others, this young girl just seems to stare right into your eyes, and the focus on her is outstanding.

And now these last two i chose because of how simple they both are. Both have a obvious and blunt focus on the subject and is starting from there shoulders up. They are just a nice capturing of the two people.

For my own portraits i would like the one of someone else to be done at this beautiful field near my house, their is such beautiful scenery there and different elevations, huge rocks, giant sunflowers, and i think it would make a great place for a photo. I would like to take the picture of my friend, Christa. She has the very natural beauty look and i would love capturing it. For my own self portrait i would enjoy Taking it near the train tracks by my house, i used to spend a lot of time there and i think the way you can see the tracks continue father and father away with the blue sky over them would look great in the back ground.

Abandoned Theme Parks

Out of all the Theme parks i viewed the one i would want to visit to take pictures of most would be Okpo land in South Korea. I find this park to be so intriguing because of the reason for closing the park. because of two deaths that accrued there. The night after closing down the park the owner simply disappeared. I find this to be a pulling factor to why the park seems so creepy and could have a haunting sense to it. Plus Korea would be nice to go to.

% other places that seem a bit unusual that i would like to visit and take pictures of includes La lsla de la munecas (Island of the dolls),

Funny Captions

Here is your furry friend, just chilling in your suitcase. Little do you know the surprise you get when you open the case in Ohio to grab that now urinated on paper you have been working on for weeks.

He comes dad with his Halloween outfit of DVD's. He surly will have a good time embarrassing you while dropping you off at blue and gold night.

This here is just a normal picture of your dog in spaghetti waiting for you to find him in a self proclaimed game of hide and seek. Hopefully you noticed him before serving dinner.

Academic shoot

I believe with the quality of these photo's it made it very aggravating to take photo's. I could not figure out that i had to tune the auto focus off. These are from guitar, English, and a new tech class.

Black & white photography part 3

When first looking at the photographers photo's i was to be honest a bit shocked at the fact that out teacher was allowing us to view some nudity. But after looking through more of the photographers pictures i realized it all had meaning. It was amazing hot to showed women, he bad the all beautiful and captured something great in each photo.

I see Women in all angels and beautiful and quirky scenery.
I smell Perfume in the room.
I hear mostly silence for focus but some soft music playing.
I taste fresh air and the sour taste of chemicals from the perfume.
I feel inspired.

Africa and Mural Project preview

I find this photo to be unreal looking in a way, but still so beautiful. The sky is just so grand. It looks like a painting that makes people wish they could ever see such a sight.
This photo is using the photography rule of thirds, by having the giraffe to the side taking up a bit over a quarter of the picture. Though the giraffe would be seen as the main focus to many the background i what takes up the majority and catches your eyes.

He uses a Pentax 67II with only two fixed lenses, after directing the famous Micheal Jackson music video for Earth song. He fell deeply in love with the beauty of Africa and the animals who lived then. He was frustrated by the fact he felt he could not capture it all in film, but later found way to show his image through photography.

"It’s getting harder and harder to capture these animals because every year there’s less of them, So I’m actually taking longer and longer to take these photographs but my mission is still to try and show them as sentient creatures.”

The story

Best Story
I see this picture as the best story because of the idea of what made all these people come together, and how nice the thought of people coming together is in general. I assume these people are in prey for someone or an event, and i think the fact that everyone is holding hands and at piece at this moment is amazing.

Best action or emotion
I picked this phot for best action and emotion because these kids are working so hard just to better the environment for them and everyone else. This is a smaller ay to help but it makes a huge impact if more people would do so.
 Most interesting stuff
I picked this one for most interesting stuff because i found myself staring at it in wonder. To be honest i am not exactly sure what i am looking at and that is the reason i think it is so captivating.  All these students are gathered around something that i am still trying to figure out, it looks like a sink but i also think i see fog coming from it so i wonder. But the photo really does draw your eyes to it

The photo i found on the 2012 jostens photo contest is a photograph of a girl spilling paint into a speaker and the paint flying. I picked it because of the way the camera froze the image and the color of the paint looked amazing. I see this phot showing an example or simplicity and framing because of how it is a close up focus as the paint splattered all over and the girl was in the faint background.

Great Black& White photographers part 2

John Ernest Joseph Bellocq (1873 – 1949) was the creator of this Beautiful photo. He was a professional photographer in the early 20th century. In these days he was ahead of his game. Taking stunning pictures like this one with beautiful scenery. He was born very wealthy in a french family and took on photography quite easy.  He lived in the state of New Orleans. When he got more professional with photography he focused on women. Nude women, clothed women, and women and strange but beautiful situations. This man was a photographer till the day he died in 1049.

Unusual and interesting photos

I find this photographer, Christian Ruhm, To have a very interesting style of photography. He seems to overlap a single building with its self to give it a cool shadow like effect ith the building it's self running through each other in different tilt.
I believe he could of made these beautiful pieces by using Photoshop to overlap or layer the picture on it's self around 3 times. then or before he most likely changed the background of the photo to a solid color.
I personally believe that many famous European landmarks would be beautiful for this style. Such as the beautiful towers and ancient architect they hold. Such as the Leaning tower of Pisa, Cologne Cathedral or the Neuschwanstein Castle.

Yunghi Kim took the photo, i find it to be amazing because of the symbolic message this man, Robert James Carlson, is showing. Yunghi did a great job at stealing your focus and making you really look at this and feel something out of something so simple. This won 1st Place in the Portrait Series category. I think the subject in the photo made this as good as it is, the way that the crowd seems to move quickly behind him as he stays still and it draws your eyes to the photo. I think it was a pretty equal reason for the photo winning 1st place.

Brian van der Brug took this captivating photo. Taken of two murder convicts. one of which is on his death bed. The photo is beautiful in it's self and had a reason to win, the timing of the photo, the angle, the editing. All is so breathtaking, It is also quite touching and is obvious why it won 1st. The judges most likely where impressed by the situation in the photo and the way it was being view, it is life sadly and this is how it runs. It really touches you deep.

Brian Cassey took this last photo, it is definitely my favorite because of the impact it has. Everything about this is incredible, the story behind it, the women in it, and the way all the colors and everything about her face just all sinks in and is so bright and beautiful. The most captivating aspect being her beautiful blue eyes.  This simply touches the viewer and amazes you. It is no wonder this one won 1st as well as the others above. The photographer really brought out the beauty in the model and really both deserve credit for the well deserved win.

These two photo's look quite alike right? Though the first is a famous painting and the next a photograph. The photographer in the second photo did in a sense follow the same theme as the first though while the painting is the figure of the man whom is holding the sphere and the room he is is, the photo is of a shore, like a magic glass ball.
I am influenced by painting that show life in a much more saturated sense and bring more dept to something you can't see in real life.

Touching strangers

I feel the "Touching strangers"Project is really quite great. It is not about taking pictures of people who already have a connection, Or To show a kind of Person. This project simply is showing contact between complete strangers the photographer grabbed from the streets. It is a great idea to try conducting a physical connection between two people whom have never met or came in contact with each other before and try to branch them out to others and open them up.

I think if a photographer was t approach me asking me to "touch a stranger" I believe i would. Because being able to be involved in something so strange to some people who do not quite get the point in it. I believe It is an amazing idea and i would participate in a heart beat if i had the chance.

A photo shoot where You grabbed two people whom look or seem like polar opposites or not the kind of people to ever be around each other, and get them to interact and peripatetic in a photo shoot together without anything more then a few moments to know who the other is.  Seeing how two people would interact who seemingly never would if not for the situation seems like a very interesting shoot idea.

Lastly I think the photography was pretty good, it was not fantastic but above mediocre. The people though that where captured in the photo was what was really outstanding. The models where the focus more then anything else of course, not the photo itself, but the symbolism in it and the idea from it you are given.

greatest photos

Marc Ribound Took This beautiful pictures. I find this picture to be amazing because of the symbolic reasoning behind the whole seen. Love not war, it's a strong message people hear all the time but here we see it.

Stan Honda Took this next picture, I find this to be the most beautiful of all. Simply because it shows how long two people in love can wait to be married and that love last a lifetime. The fact it is a same-sex couple isn't what I find so moving, but the fact that the love stayed till this day and beyond.

Yuriko Rakao Took this last breathtaking photo. i find this one to be a bit heart wrenching with the fact it is a girl being deprived of the small things we all seem so used to. Like her dog on the other side of the glass where she is isolated on the other side of.

Great black & white photgrapers.

Stephan Mitchell, I love so much how he can capture landscapes so beautifully and with a little pop of color to bring the dark to light.

Julia Margaret Camercon, She is a photgrapher from the 1800's yet she was still about to take such beautiful and emotional pictures when it came to shooting people. ou can see all the emotion in there face and she just brings it out even more and shows them at there best angle.

,
E.J Bellocq, She takes lots of risks with her work, taking unusual posses in different scenery and very powerful nude photo's showing all types of beauty in women.
