Unusual and interesting photos

I find this photographer, Christian Ruhm, To have a very interesting style of photography. He seems to overlap a single building with its self to give it a cool shadow like effect ith the building it's self running through each other in different tilt.
I believe he could of made these beautiful pieces by using Photoshop to overlap or layer the picture on it's self around 3 times. then or before he most likely changed the background of the photo to a solid color.
I personally believe that many famous European landmarks would be beautiful for this style. Such as the beautiful towers and ancient architect they hold. Such as the Leaning tower of Pisa, Cologne Cathedral or the Neuschwanstein Castle.

Yunghi Kim took the photo, i find it to be amazing because of the symbolic message this man, Robert James Carlson, is showing. Yunghi did a great job at stealing your focus and making you really look at this and feel something out of something so simple. This won 1st Place in the Portrait Series category. I think the subject in the photo made this as good as it is, the way that the crowd seems to move quickly behind him as he stays still and it draws your eyes to the photo. I think it was a pretty equal reason for the photo winning 1st place.

Brian van der Brug took this captivating photo. Taken of two murder convicts. one of which is on his death bed. The photo is beautiful in it's self and had a reason to win, the timing of the photo, the angle, the editing. All is so breathtaking, It is also quite touching and is obvious why it won 1st. The judges most likely where impressed by the situation in the photo and the way it was being view, it is life sadly and this is how it runs. It really touches you deep.

Brian Cassey took this last photo, it is definitely my favorite because of the impact it has. Everything about this is incredible, the story behind it, the women in it, and the way all the colors and everything about her face just all sinks in and is so bright and beautiful. The most captivating aspect being her beautiful blue eyes.  This simply touches the viewer and amazes you. It is no wonder this one won 1st as well as the others above. The photographer really brought out the beauty in the model and really both deserve credit for the well deserved win.

These two photo's look quite alike right? Though the first is a famous painting and the next a photograph. The photographer in the second photo did in a sense follow the same theme as the first though while the painting is the figure of the man whom is holding the sphere and the room he is is, the photo is of a shore, like a magic glass ball.
I am influenced by painting that show life in a much more saturated sense and bring more dept to something you can't see in real life.

Touching strangers

I feel the "Touching strangers"Project is really quite great. It is not about taking pictures of people who already have a connection, Or To show a kind of Person. This project simply is showing contact between complete strangers the photographer grabbed from the streets. It is a great idea to try conducting a physical connection between two people whom have never met or came in contact with each other before and try to branch them out to others and open them up.

I think if a photographer was t approach me asking me to "touch a stranger" I believe i would. Because being able to be involved in something so strange to some people who do not quite get the point in it. I believe It is an amazing idea and i would participate in a heart beat if i had the chance.

A photo shoot where You grabbed two people whom look or seem like polar opposites or not the kind of people to ever be around each other, and get them to interact and peripatetic in a photo shoot together without anything more then a few moments to know who the other is.  Seeing how two people would interact who seemingly never would if not for the situation seems like a very interesting shoot idea.

Lastly I think the photography was pretty good, it was not fantastic but above mediocre. The people though that where captured in the photo was what was really outstanding. The models where the focus more then anything else of course, not the photo itself, but the symbolism in it and the idea from it you are given.

greatest photos

Marc Ribound Took This beautiful pictures. I find this picture to be amazing because of the symbolic reasoning behind the whole seen. Love not war, it's a strong message people hear all the time but here we see it.

Stan Honda Took this next picture, I find this to be the most beautiful of all. Simply because it shows how long two people in love can wait to be married and that love last a lifetime. The fact it is a same-sex couple isn't what I find so moving, but the fact that the love stayed till this day and beyond.

Yuriko Rakao Took this last breathtaking photo. i find this one to be a bit heart wrenching with the fact it is a girl being deprived of the small things we all seem so used to. Like her dog on the other side of the glass where she is isolated on the other side of.

Great black & white photgrapers.

Stephan Mitchell, I love so much how he can capture landscapes so beautifully and with a little pop of color to bring the dark to light.

Julia Margaret Camercon, She is a photgrapher from the 1800's yet she was still about to take such beautiful and emotional pictures when it came to shooting people. ou can see all the emotion in there face and she just brings it out even more and shows them at there best angle.

,
E.J Bellocq, She takes lots of risks with her work, taking unusual posses in different scenery and very powerful nude photo's showing all types of beauty in women.

Best & worst of first day.

I like this picture, it i my far my favorite of the batch. I enjoy the way it focuses on him and the background is there but your eye focuses on him instead.

I dislike the picture mainly because of the lighting. It looks very tacky and this has to be my least favorite.
