Abandoned Theme Parks

Out of all the Theme parks i viewed the one i would want to visit to take pictures of most would be Okpo land in South Korea. I find this park to be so intriguing because of the reason for closing the park. because of two deaths that accrued there. The night after closing down the park the owner simply disappeared. I find this to be a pulling factor to why the park seems so creepy and could have a haunting sense to it. Plus Korea would be nice to go to.

Funny Captions

 Here is your furry friend, just chilling in your suitcase. Little do you know the surprise you get when you open the case in Ohio to grab that now urinated on paper you have been working on for weeks.

 He comes dad with his Halloween outfit of DVD's. He surly will have a good time embarrassing you while dropping you off at blue and gold night.

This here is just a normal picture of your dog in spaghetti waiting for you to find him in a self proclaimed game of hide and seek. Hopefully you noticed him before serving dinner.

I believe with the quality of these photo's it made it very aggravating to take photo's. I could not figure out that i had to tune the auto focus off. These are from guitar, English, and a new tech class.

Black & white photography part 3

When first looking at the photographers photo's i was to be honest a bit shocked at the fact that out teacher was allowing us to view some nudity. But after looking through more of the photographers pictures i realized it all had meaning. It was amazing hot to showed women, he bad the all beautiful and captured something great in each photo.

I see Women in all angels and beautiful and quirky scenery.

I smell Perfume in the room.

I hear mostly silence for focus but some soft music playing.

I taste fresh air and the sour taste of chemicals from the perfume.

I feel inspired.

Africa and Mural Project preview

I find this photo to be unreal looking in a way, but still so beautiful. The sky is just so grand. It looks like a painting that makes people wish they could ever see such a sight.
This photo is using the photography rule of thirds, by having the giraffe to the side taking up a bit over a quarter of the picture. Though the giraffe would be seen as the main focus to many the background i what takes up the majority and catches your eyes.

He uses a Pentax 67II with only two fixed lenses, after directing the famous Micheal Jackson music video for Earth song. He fell deeply in love with the beauty of Africa and the animals who lived then. He was frustrated by the fact he felt he could not capture it all in film, but later found way to show his image through photography.

"It’s getting harder and harder to capture these animals because every year there’s less of them, So I’m actually taking longer and longer to take these photographs but my mission is still to try and show them as sentient creatures.”

Best Story

I see this picture as the best story because of the idea of what made all these people come together, and how nice the thought of people coming together is in general. I assume these people are in prey for someone or an event, and i think the fact that everyone is holding hands and at piece at this moment is amazing.

 

Best action or emotion

I picked this phot for best action and emotion because these kids are working so hard just to better the environment for them and everyone else. This is a smaller ay to help but it makes a huge impact if more people would do so. 

 Most interesting stuff

I picked this one for most interesting stuff because i found myself staring at it in wonder. To be honest i am not exactly sure what i am looking at and that is the reason i think it is so captivating.  All these students are gathered around something that i am still trying to figure out, it looks like a sink but i also think i see fog coming from it so i wonder. But the photo really does draw your eyes to it

The photo i found on the 2012 jostens photo contest is a photograph of a girl spilling paint into a speaker and the paint flying. I picked it because of the way the camera froze the image and the color of the paint looked amazing. I see this phot showing an example or simplicity and framing because of how it is a close up focus as the paint splattered all over and the girl was in the faint background.

Great Black& White photographers part 2

John Ernest Joseph Bellocq (1873 – 1949) was the creator of this Beautiful photo. He was a professional photographer in the early 20th century. In these days he was ahead of his game. Taking stunning pictures like this one with beautiful scenery. He was born very wealthy in a french family and took on photography quite easy.  He lived in the state of New Orleans. When he got more professional with photography he focused on women. Nude women, clothed women, and women and strange but beautiful situations. This man was a photographer till the day he died in 1049.

shutter - The button on a camera that takes one photo at a time.
exposure - The amount of light allowed to fall on each area unit.
depth of field - Distance between particularity sharp object in photo and everything else.
F-stop -  Ratio of the length of the focal len's ad the diameter of the entrance pupil.
focal length - measure of how strongly the system converges or diverges light
